Meet Our Anchorage Staff

Kathy – Office Manager

Kathy is the office manager at Priebe Orthodontics and has been a valued member of the team since 2003, when Dr. Priebe first opened his practice. With over 38 years of experience in the field of orthodontics, Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to patient care. She especially enjoys the long-term relationships built with patients and the opportunity to support their journey toward improved confidence and oral health.

Originally from Wisconsin, Kathy moved to Alaska with her family, graduated from East High School, and completed the dental assisting program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her own orthodontic experience sparked a lifelong interest in the specialty, leading her to begin her career as both an assistant and receptionist. Today, she leads a team that feels more like family—including her daughter Jamie, who also works in the practice. Outside of the office, Kathy cherishes time with her four adult children and nine grandchildren. Being a grandmother is one of her greatest joys.

Andi – Orthodontic Assistant

Andi began her career in dentistry in 2016 as a cosmetic dental assistant shortly after graduating from high school. In 2021, she transitioned into orthodontics and joined the team at Priebe Orthodontics, where she enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Born in Anchorage and raised on the Kenai Peninsula, she feels fortunate to raise her own family in the community she calls home. She and her husband have three children and enjoy traveling, discovering great food, and making lasting memories close to home.

Annika – Orthodontic Assistant

Annika joined Priebe Orthodontics in June 2022 and is new to the field of orthodontic assisting—but has quickly found her passion in helping patients transform their smiles. She values the supportive, team-oriented environment and finds it especially rewarding to see the confidence patients gain through their treatment.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her rescue pets, embroidering, traveling, and exploring new foods.

Melanie – Dental Assistant

Melanie is a dedicated dental assistant with over a decade of experience, bringing compassion, skill, and professionalism to every patient interaction. Since beginning her career in 2010, she has been committed to delivering exceptional care and supporting clinical excellence. Originally from Guam and now rooted in Alaska, Melanie is proud to be part of the local dental community. Outside of work, she enjoys life as a devoted dog mom to three energetic pups.

Erica – Front Desk

Erica serves as the front desk receptionist and is often the first point of contact when clients call to schedule an appointment. With a warm and welcoming demeanor, she ensures every interaction is smooth and professional. Outside of work, Erica enjoys staying active at the gym, relaxing at home with her cat, and making the most of summers by hiking and fishing in the great outdoors.
